The Air New Zealand Flying Club is a division of the Air New Zealand Staff Social Club. The Club's aim is to provide flight training in light aircraft towards both Private and Commercial licences as well as provide private hire of aircraft to its members for private flying.

The club presently owns and operates a C152 Aerobat for ab initio and aerobatic training, and a C172P.

The club operates out of a hangar at Rangiora Airfield, providing easy access to training areas and a variety of cross country routes to the North, West and South. For controlled airspace, Christchurch zone and Approach areas are conveniently nearby.

The club is open for membership applications for both Full members (Air NZ employee - social club members) and to Associate members (non Air NZ staff).

Our aim is to provide cost effective flight training and hiring of aircraft for the benefit of members.
