Welcome to AIR NEW ZEALAND FLYING CLUB...

The Air New Zealand Flying Club is a division of the Air New Zealand Staff Social Club. The Club's aim is to provide flight training in light aircraft as well as provide private hire of aircraft to it's members for pleasure flying.
The club presently owns three Cessna aircraft, a C152 Aerobat for aerobatic training, a C172 and the flagship of our fleet a C172 RG. Our aircraft are meticulously maintained by Air New Zealand Engineers who are members of the club.

The club and it's hangar were originally based at the Christchurch Airport but in 2015 due to Air New Zealand expansions were forced to move out, so now we are based at the much quieter Rangiora Airfield just west of the Rangiora township.

Other than flight training, the club also organises social events based around flying such as fly-aways, competition days and the odd summer BBQ of course.

The club is open for membership to Air New Zealand Staff Social Club member's as 'Full Members' but is also open to a limited number of 'Associate Members' from outside of Air New Zealand. Please contact us if you are interested in membership.
